The design exposes the maids’ sadistic ways whilst playing with the theme of illusion. Outside the space is a white void. The maids live in a very small world. They have their lost sense of the outside world and become obsessive with what happens inside the ‘wipe-clean’ padded space. It feels like fantasy is the only escape.
